Slot missions are a great method to earn gear, weapons and much more. They're difficult to complete.

Concealed Weapon Slot

The concealed weapon slot is a specific slot that allows you to bring pistols in to a mission. Some players use this to aid in achieving certain goals particularly those who are going for Suit Only. Some players use the extra pistol to fill in the gap. If you are using this slot, it's important to keep in mind that you'll need to click the appropriate pistol category button, such as the alternative slot 2 for machine guns, in order to select the category of your choice. Major Expedition and Adept Rider are active, which makes it much easier to use. This combo also gives you damage from concealed Weapon every 10 seconds so long as you have it placed in.

Slot for items being smuggled

The smuggled items slot a great feature that allows players to bring weapons and other tools into the game, but it can be improved. It's currently shaped like an a gun, which makes it hard to distinguish the smuggled item slot from other slots for gear.

The smuggle slot can be used to store a wide range of items ranging from concussion devices to explosives used in weapons to subdued concussions. These items can be found in a variety of hidden places around the map. They can also be found any time. These items are distinct from Agency Pickups and Hidden Stashes that conceal small objects in the scenery, and objects directly.

Mission planning is an option in missions that are episodic. It allows players to unlock various starting locations as well as smuggled items and gear slots before they enter the map. These planning options increase as players complete challenges and obtain higher Mission Mastery levels. This lets players plan the perfect task for each challenge.

Gear Slot

The game's beginning players will notice that their gear 3D slots fill up, leading to the frequently-repeated "Your Gear Slots are full" message, which blocks Max from acquiring new equipment until the old items are cleared or a larger space is obtained. Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials are the solution to this problem. They give players more inventory space for completing challenges missions. However, as the majority of these challenges are scattered across the globe and are easily missed, it can take some time to get the most inventory slots available in-game.

Each player can have up to five different types of gear in their five Gear Trusted Slots. These are to be selected from the Gear Selection menu prior to the break-in. Each gear item (except for the Pistol), takes up one Gear Slot, while a grouping of similar items (such as a grouping of Grenades) only takes up one Gear Slot.

Agency pick-ups

As you progress in Mission Mastery levels, you unlock various agency pickups across the map. These locations let you keep items that aren't suitable in your concealed weapon or gear slot. You can take them out later.

These pickups are useful if your mission requires you to go through a frisk or you have a weapon on you that could cause suspicion. You can only hide one item per game at a pickup location for agencies.

This DLC also includes new security and asset protection contracts to the agency. To begin these missions, simply talk to the agency receptionist and stock up on armor and snacks. Once you have reached the marker for your mission be sure to identify a group when you arrive.
