The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop ComboThe Q Revo is a great choice if you are looking for a robot vacuum and mop that is middle-of-the-road. It's a great mopping capabilities, but is lacking certain of the more advanced features that are found in its more expensive sibling.
In the course of testing, it was able to tackle dust and dry oats on carpets of medium pile as well as pet hair on hard floors. However, like cheaper models, it doesn't utilize LIDAR to determine the layout of your home.
Roomba s9+ from iRobot
The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums. It comes with a variety of features and impressive cleaning power, such as a dirt compartment that is integrated into the charging base. It can also learn your habits of cleaning and suggest schedules that are automatic to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.
The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automatic cleaning functions at the touch of one button. You can opt for an overall clean that emphasizes the removal of large debris such as cereal and rice, or opt for two thorough mappings of your area to ensure that your home has a clean and tidy appearance.
This robot vacuum is effective on both bare floors and carpets with low pile. It can pick up pet hair and sucks large items up. It doesn't lose suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It does have a hard time with plush or high-pile carpet, but iRobot promises it will improve with the next models.
The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that is focused on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted, D-shaped design, which will allow it to hug walls and furniture. It's a step up from the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are standard however we found it only marginally better than circular models.
iRobot claims that the S9+ also has an advanced filtration system that blocks micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating in your home. It's a nice claim however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the premium price price.
Its smart navigation system uses sensors that remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles, like staircases and other barriers, and to clean up your whole home in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home app lets you manage the robot and plan cleaning times, as well as establish virtual boundary markers, so that it knows to avoid areas that need extra attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
When it is about robots that combine vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are just as good as those on higher-end models. Its mopping system is better - its spinning pads clean your floors more effectively than an ordinary pad that vibrates.
The only downside is that it does not have an additional rubber brush for deeper cleaning, but that's an affordable price to pay if you are looking for one of the top robots on the market. In terms of the mopping system, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. The two lowest mopping settings that are less powerful than the high-powered modes, produce very little noise, so you can work or even watch television without being distracted. It will gently bump into a wall or furniture and then move away if it comes across one.
What really distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to function almost autonomously with very little need for user intervention. The dock of the robo-vac has multiple functions and automatically transfers trash into a hidden bin. It also cleans and dries, as well as refills the clean water tank. The app is capable of notifying you when something needs attention, for example, the water tank that is running out of clean or a scheduled vacuuming session being cancelled due to a stuffed dust bin.
You can also create or combine actual rooms in order to personalize the way Q Revo manages your home. That's a handy feature if you have multiple areas of the home with different flooring materials or there's a lot of clutter that needs to be removed regularly, such as toys, clothes and books. The robot vacuum was also among the best performers in my test cleaning up debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors with the first go. It can even vacuum up wet spills. I recommend drying the area with a towel prior to sending it into.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo that comes with all the features you could wish for. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it has an excellent vacuum that has a powerful suction that cleans carpet and hard floors, and the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough staining. It also has an automatic cleaning station that cleans and empty mop pads to keep them clean and ready to be reused. It also has a new sensor system that can better detects obstacles, giving it the ability to avoid falling over furniture and other objects.
The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS The X1 Deebot is the sleeker, more modern design. This is thanks to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, Best robot mop for laminate floors known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still quite large. It has a height of more than two feet both height and depth, and weighs nearly four pounds. However the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot J7.
This version is also more efficient than the X1, as it has faster battery charging and can handle a full cleaning of around 1,500 square feet with just one charge. It also comes with a larger and more robust dust bin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.
The X2 Omni also has a more intuitive voice assistant and an app that can be used even when you're at home. It also comes with an intelligent routing feature that lets it clean specific rooms or areas of your home, instead of following a predetermined path.
The X2 Omni has the best robot mop for vinyl floors mopping performance of any robot we've tested due to its rotating mop pads that clean tough stains away and a motor that produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent as well and it enhances suction when it senses carpets to ensure that it does the job well. It also has a large battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as effective as any we've seen in an ordinary robot.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a high-end mop and vacuum robot that comes with a variety of convenience features you do not often find on robots in this price. It can make detailed floor maps and identify different types of flooring. It's also one of the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. But while these functions are nice to have, they also make the L10s Ultra more in the category of luxury, which might make it somewhat more expensive than the average homeowner require.

The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper that helps protect furniture and vacuum cleaners from damage while moving through the house. This allows the robot to mop and vacuum efficiently without getting stuck. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and identify them and avoid them, which is a great feature for households with pets or young children.
The L10s Ultra is a powerful vacuum cleaner that removes 98.4 percent of debris from our test on hardwood floors and taking out all but stubborn juice stains. Its mops also perform well in removing 98.4 percent of the debris from our tile, carpet and wood tests. It was not as effective at removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oatmeal from the carpet.
