A best robot vacuum and mop pet hair vacuum is a great option for any household with pets. It can easily clean up dander and hair. Some models are mopping.

1. Roomba i7+
The Roomba I7+ is our most modern robot vacuum. It took up 82 percent of flour, cat litter and pet hair, and it can be paired with the Roomba app for mapping the boundaries of no-go zones, scheduling and other. It features technology for avoiding obstacles that detects everyday objects, such as cables and socks, and is able to maneuver around them. It is constantly learning and improving which makes it the most intelligent vacuum we've ever seen. It is so confident that it will never leave pet poop that it offers an "Pet Owner Official Promise" which states that iRobot will replace your Roomba i7and if it isn't able to properly eliminate solid pet waste.
The i7+ sports the similar circular design of other Roomba models, with an oblong black divot in the center, which houses its navigation camera. Its base is a bit higher than the earlier Roomba models, however it has the self-emptying dustbin. The start button is fitted with an LED ring which glows white when cleaning, red when charging and blue when connected via Wi-Fi.
The i7+ performed admirably on all kinds of flooring, including low-pile carpet. It stayed in place less often than previous models, and it picked up pet hair (and the clumps that come with it) easily. The i7+ comes with a Clean Base power cord and two bags for disposal and a virtual wall and an additional filter.
The i7+ recorded 77 decibels in both the high and quiet modes. This is more loud than a lot of conversations however, it's not as loud as other auto vacuums that we've test. We also measured the suction of the i7+ in both modes and discovered that it pulled up a good amount of dirt, even on hardwood floors.
2. Eufy RoboVac Edge G30
The G30 Edge is the latest budget model from eufy's well-respected RoboVac line. It is equipped with the company's dynamic navigation 2.0 technology and BoostIQ to remove pet hair more powerfully. You can also create boundaries to keep the vacuum away from areas you don't wish it to clean, like the mess of toys for children or a bundle behind your TV.
Eufy's robots have always had a largely refined appearance, and this one is no exception. The brushed black plastic trims on the dustbin and the bottom of the robot compliment the bronze concentric circle that is on top. The vacuum also has three physical controls: a Play/Pause Button that resembles the button on a CD player, a Recharge button to dock the G30 Edge and a Spot Clean button. A Wi-Fi status light is over them.
As with the other vacuums in our review like all of the other vacuums in our comparison, the G30 Edge can be controlled remotely via your smartphone. The app displays an outline of your house to help you track the robot. A "Find My Bot" feature allows you to send the robot the signal to play a loud tune until it's found, which is helpful when you're lost of it while cleaning or if you're unable to reach the controls to find it when it gets stuck in a place.
The G30 Edge's battery lasts about 100 minutes. It comes with an anti-drop sensor that will keep it from falling down steep steps or down stairs. The robot will also automatically return to its charging base when its batteries get depleted. The battery is available for around $30.
3. Tikom R2
This smart and efficient 2-in-1 vacuums pet hair efficiently and cleans away paw prints that are dirty. It's expensive but its smart features and 4.5-star rating from users are worth the money. It plots the area it's cleaning using a precise matrix grid, and its real-time object recognition enables it to keep clear of cords, shoes, socks, and other debris. It can also move through furniture to fit into tight spaces.
This model is compatible both with Amazon Alexa, and Google Assistant. You can operate it with your voice. It comes with a large dirt bin that can hold up to 30 days of debris. When it is full it will automatically empty. It has four cleaning modes as well as a HEPA air filter that reduces the amount of airborne pollutants. It's a great choice for busy homeowners looking for a convenient way to keep their home free of clutter without lifting a finger.
The Q5+ is another robot vacuum made by Roborock that's affordable and powerful. It comes with some of the same features that the more expensive models. It has real-time hazard avoidance features with front-facing optic sensors. It is less effective than the S8 at getting rid of pet hair off bare floors, and does a worse job of blocking allergens like pet dander that escape through the gaps between its bristled wheels.
4. Deebot T10 Omni
The Deebot T10 Omni robot vacuum is among the most sophisticated vacuums on the market. It offers an incredible vacuuming efficiency, and comes with mopheads for scrubbing. It's also quiet, with just 66 decibels. Its impressive vacuuming abilities and the flexibility of app-based controls make it an excellent option for households with pets.
The T10 is the second generation of ECOVACS' Deebot vacuums, and it comes with a variety of new features. It makes use of an RGB sensor and LiDAR camera for creating 3D and 2D maps of your house, which helps it navigate and avoid obstacles. It can also recognize the shape of furniture and other objects and automatically adjust cleaning settings accordingly. It also has an inbuilt assistant, called YIKO. This can respond to a range of commands.
The OMNI Station is an all-purpose station that can be used as an charging station water tank, trash bin, and a dispenser for mop pads. The OMNI station will also automatically refill your mop pad whenever they're empty. It also automatically empty the dustbin into a disposable 3L bag that can hold up to 60 days of debris. It makes use of heat to dry mop pads each time they are used, stopping the growth of odors and bacteria.
Another fantastic characteristic is the T10's strong 5,000pa suction power, which can pick up pet hair with ease. It also comes with an elongated main brush that's designed to prevent carpet fibers from getting pulled up in the process. I tried the T10's cleaning abilities for pet hair by running it over an area rug covered in hair from dogs. It was able remove the majority of hair from the fibers within two cleaning cycles.
5. Eureka Groove
The Eureka Groove robot vacuum is an affordable model that comes with an excellent suction, long battery life and works well with various surfaces. It is also easy to use and maintain. However, it does have several regular expenses.
This two-in-one machine is a good option for pet owners who want to mop and vacuum their floors using the same device. The mops do a great job at picking up debris from hard floors and carpets and also removing staining. Mops are also excellent for cleaning furniture legs as well as stairs. They can also be used for pet hair. The Groove comes with batteries that last for about an hour in the most powerful mode. It also comes with an energy-saving mode called Low which increases the runtime to nearly two hours.
Groove’s app lets you control the operation of the machine. The mop tank can hold enough water to last for several cleaning cycles. The app is very bare-bones however, and isn't able to do much more than initiating and stopping the machine as well as selecting a cleaning mode.
In our testing we discovered that the Groove could handle a variety of surfaces ranging from low-pile carpet to high-pile carpet. It had some difficulty with the bulky material, but it did an excellent job at getting around obstacles and maneuvering. It also did a solid job of picking up beads and sequins, pine cone seeds, and small hamster bedding and shavings.
The Groove is a good-looking product with a sturdy design. It features a mix of brushed and matte finishes, and it features an on-board storage compartment that houses its brushroll cleaning tool. The Groove brushroll can be accessed by removing the door for the brushroll. It can also be cleaned using the cleaning tool that comes with it. The Groove can be serviced by removing the charging pins, sensors, side brush, and the compartment door.
